Recent advance in direct sp3 carbon-hydrogen bond functionalizations

    Get PDF
Direct and selective carbon-hydrogen bond functionalization has attracted enormous attention because it provides more efficient strategies for preparing valuable functional molecules from easily available substrates. Significant and exciting developments in functionalization of un-activation Csp3-H bonds have continuously been made over the past few decades. This review mainly summarizes recent advances on direct Csp3-H bond functionalization for the formation of C-C and C-heteroatom bond under transition-metal-catalysed and metal-free conditions

A Cayley digraph Cay(G,S) of a finite group GG with respect to a subset SS of GG is said to be a CI-digraph if for every Cayley digraph Cay(G,T) isomorphic to Cay(G,S), there exists an automorphism σ\sigma of GG such that Sσ=TS^\sigma=T. A finite group GG is said to have the mm-DCI property for some positive integer mm if all mm-valent Cayley digraphs of GG are CI-digraphs, and is said to be a DCI-group if GG has the mm-DCI property for all 1≤m≤∣G∣1\leq m\leq |G|. Let Q4n\mathrm{Q}_{4n} be a generalized quaternion group of order 4n4n with an integer n≥3n\geq 3, and let Q4n\mathrm{Q}_{4n} have the mm-DCI property for some 1≤m≤2n−11 \leq m\leq 2n-1. It is shown in this paper that nn is odd, and nn is not divisible by p2p^2 for any prime p≤m−1p\leq m-1. Furthermore, if n≥3n\geq 3 is a power of a prime pp, then Q4n\mathrm{Q}_{4n} has the mm-DCI property if and only if pp is odd, and either n=pn=p or 1≤m≤p1\leq m\leq p.Comment: 1

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of microRNA-133a in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: Major databases including PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library were searched for case-controlled studies comparing AMI and non-AMI patients. The outcome was evaluated by the relative expression of microRNA-133a in plasma or serum. The Mantel-Haenszel odds ratio (OR) was calculated using a fixed-effects model meta-analysis for the outcome. The primary outcomes of interest were pooled sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of microRNA-133a for AMI. Results: Out of 137 identified related articles, 10 were found to conform with the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study. The 10 case-controlled studies contained complete data for 1,074 patients (with no restrictions of race, age or sex), and a database containing 137 patients from the registry of each study. In addition to low heterogeneity, a statistically significant increase was found in overall microRNA-133a expression between AMI vs. non-AMI; the pooled OR was 22.84 (95% confidence interval [CI] 13.87–37.63), sensitivity was 0.84 (95% CI 0.75–0.90), specificity was 0.82 (95% CI 0.74–0.89) and area under curve (AUC) was 0.90 (95% CI 0.87–0.92). Conclusions: Based on the meta-analysis of ten case-controlled studies including 1,074 patients,it was found that the level of microRNA-133a in blood serum or plasma maybe used as a diagnostic biomarker of AMI

In the title compound, C22H22ClN3O3, the dihedral angles between the planes of the benzene rings and the pyrazole ring are 16.05 (10) and 84.84 (10)°. The conformation of the six-membered heterocyclic ring is close to a screw-boat. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions and is also consolidated by C—H⋯π interactions

In the bimetallic cyanide-bridged title complex, [Fe0.98HoRu0.02(CN)6(C3H7NO)4(H2O)3]·H2O, the HoIII ion is in a slightly distorted square-antiprismatic arrangement formed by seven O atoms from four dimethylformamide (DMF) molecules and three water molecules, and one N atom from a bridging cyanide group connected with the FeIII atom which is octahedrally coordinated by six cyanide groups. In the crystal, molecules are held together through O—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a three-dimensional framework. Elemental analysis of one of the precursors and the crystal shows that there is a slight contamination of Fe by Ru. The Fe site displays, therefore, small substitutional disorder with site-occupancy factors Fe/Ru = 0.98:0.02. The two methyl groups of two dimethylformamide ligands are positionally disordered with site-occupancy factors of 0.44 (3):0.56 (3) and 0.44 (3):0.56 (3)
